New Public Access at Chypraze Farm
The map below shows existing and new footpaths at Chypraze.
In agreement with Natural England (Ref DP003/L2/13E) we have increased public access at Chypraze by re-establishing an old path (shown in light blue) to give a less strenuous permissive route to two points on the South West Coast Path with its stunning views.
We believe this old path originally provided a link between the tin mine at Morvah Consols and the pre-steam age, water driven, ore crushing stamps and separation systems in this valley of the Rose Stream. The ore would have been carried in panniers by mule and donkey.
